What if they already use GoodSeed?

Perfect. The code upgrades their existing family to Plus, and if they already have gifted Plus it adds another year. If they already pay for Plus themselves, the code isn't used up, so it can go to another family.

Does it renew or charge them later?

No. It's one year of Plus, fully paid. When it ends, the family can keep going on the free plan or subscribe on their own.

Does the code expire?

No. It works whenever they're ready to start.
